Summary: The Onshore Test Manager at EXL is responsible for leading and executing testing activities within a financial transformation program. This role requires extensive experience in financial systems testing and strong knowledge of finance operations to ensure compliance and accuracy across multiple vendors and systems. The position is critical for the successful deployment of financial technology solutions in a complex enterprise environment. The role is based in London and is offered as an interim contract for an initial six months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver the end-to-end testing strategy across all testing phases including SIT, UAT, E2E, Performance Testing, Penny Testing, and Data Reconciliation.
- Manage and coordinate testing activities across multiple vendors including Solution Partner, System Integration Partner, and Application Partner.
- Ensure integration and application testing validate accurate outputs, correct financial calculations, data integrity, and compliance with finance requirements.
- Participate in design workshops to understand system architecture, financial processes, and end-to-end business flows.
- Develop, maintain, and manage test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and defect processes.
- Coordinate with finance stakeholders to facilitate test execution, validation, and formal sign-off.
- Provide regular testing status updates, manage risks and issues and drive resolution across cross-functional teams.

The Onshore Test Manager plays a critical role in leading and executing testing activities across a major financial transformation program currently in design phase. You will manage end-to-end testing across multiple vendors and systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with finance and accounting requirements. The role requires deep experience in financial systems testing, strong knowledge of finance operations, and the ability to work seamlessly with Solution, Application, and System Integration Partners. This position is essential to ensuring the successful deployment of financial technology solutions within a complex enterprise environment.
What the role entails:
