Summary: The Telecoms Business Analyst role in Sheffield involves supporting the Connectivity function of a global financial services organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining an accurate, up-to-date carrier inventory
- Working with suppliers to ensure inventory reconciliation processes are effective and fit for purpose
- Ensuring commercial and billing data is accurate and maintained
- Defining governance frameworks and processes across carrier management, including service and performance tracking, contract management, and third-party/vendor management
- Ensuring and evidencing carrier compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements
- Partnering with Finance and Procurement teams to secure optimal commercial terms
- Building strong, effective relationships with third-party telecom carriers
- Supporting contractual discussions, renewals, market evaluations, and RFP processes
- Providing clear visibility of carrier performance across key service metrics to senior management
Key Skills:
- Proven experience within the Technology sector, ideally in large, global organisations
- Strong knowledge of telecoms infrastructure, carrier services, and circuit provisioning
- Experience managing complex IT infrastructure within highly regulated environments
- Prior experience within Financial Services or Banking (preferred)
- Demonstrable experience managing third-party vendors and suppliers (essential)
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret contracts and billing data
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- A positive, professional, and adaptable approach

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Telecoms Business Analyst to join a leading global financial services organisation, supporting its Connectivity function. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in strengthening telecom carrier management processes within a highly regulated, enterprise-scale environment. Working closely with the Global Carrier Manager, you will support all telecom carrier-related matters, helping to build robust governance, optimise commercial performance, and ensure the organisation receives best-in-class service from its global carriers.
Key Responsibilities
