Summary: The Senior MuleSoft Developer will design, build, and support enterprise-grade integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. This hands-on role requires collaboration with architects, business teams, and backend engineers to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable APIs and integrations. The developer is expected to lead by example and guide junior developers while implementing best practices in integration development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement APIs and integrations using Mule 4
- Develop reusable assets using API-led connectivity principles
- Build and manage APIs using Anypoint Studio
- Deploy and monitor applications via CloudHub or on-prem runtime
- Create RAML/OAS specifications and implement REST/SOAP services
- Handle data transformations using DataWeave 2.0
- Integrate with Salesforce, SAP, databases, messaging systems, and third-party APIs
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance
- Guide junior developers and conduct code reviews
Key Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in integration development
- 5+ years of hands-on MuleSoft experience
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Deep understanding of API security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, basic auth, TLS)
- Strong DataWeave experience
- Experience with message queues (JMS, Kafka, etc.)
- Solid understanding of HTTP, JSON, XML, and web services
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Good debugging and performance tuning skills
