Key Responsibilities:
- Design of building drainage systems (foul & surface water)
- Ensure compliance with Part H Building Regulations
- Production of drainage strategies and detailed design packages
- Coordination with architects and structural engineers
- Liaison with Local Authorities, Water Companies & Building Control
- Delivery of technically compliant, buildable solutions
Key Skills:
- 7+ years’ experience in civil engineering (consultancy environment)
- Strong experience in building drainage design
- Solid understanding of Part H Building Regulations
- Experience working on residential and commercial developments
- Ability to manage projects and work independently
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Familiarity with Civils 3D (desirable)
- Experience with MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage
- Knowledge of Causeway Flow (advantageous)

A leading, design-led engineering consultancy, is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Civil Engineer on a long-term contract basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of high-quality building-led projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in delivering building drainage and infrastructure design, working closely with structural teams, architects, and external stakeholders.
Your focus will be on ensuring designs are fully compliant with Building Regulations Part H, from concept through to construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Design of building drainage systems (foul & surface water)
- Ensure compliance with Part H Building Regulations
- Production of drainage strategies and detailed design packages
- Coordination with architects and structural engineers
