Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Safeguarding Children, Health and Safety, and organizational policies.
- Oversee regulatory compliance and ensure the home meets all Ofsted requirements.
- Support ongoing development and quality assurance of the service.
- Promote an open and transparent culture within the organization.
- Provide strategic input on a part-time basis.
Key Skills:
- Level 5 or 7 in Leadership & Management.
- Previous experience as a Responsible Individual or Consultant / RI.
- Essential experience working with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, Ofsted standards & care regulations.
- Proven ability in leadership, compliance, and service oversight.
- Ability to work independently.

Responsible Individual (1 Day per Week) – £500 per day
We’re currently working alongside an established children’s residential care provider on the South Coast of England, who are looking for an experienced Responsible Individual to support their 4:1 complex trauma / EBD service, which currenrly supports a 15 year old young person with complex emotional and behavioural difficulties. This organisation are wanting an experienced RI on a part-time basis for 1 day per week, ideal for an experienced Responsible Individual who currently has capacity to take on another role.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Responsible Individual or Consultant / RI seeking a flexible, high-impact role, looking to utilise their expertise in a more consultative capacity while maintaining influence over service quality and compliance. You’ll be joining a well-established provider with a strong foundation and commitment to high-quality care.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with Safeguarding Children, Health and Safety, and all organisational policies and procedures, while promoting an open and transparent culture.
