Summary: The role of ServiceNow ITSM QA Tester / Documentation Specialist involves supporting ServiceNow ITSM implementations through manual QA testing and documentation. The ideal candidate will ensure process quality and create functional and technical documentation in line with ITIL best practices. Strong experience in testing ITSM modules is essential for this position. The role is fully remote and requires collaboration with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual QA testing for ServiceNow ITSM modules.
- Validate end-to-end ITSM workflows including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge.
- Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA / ALM.
- Prepare and maintain functional documentation, SOPs, and user guides.
- Review BRDs, FRDs, and configuration documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Support UAT, regression testing, and production validation.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
- Ensure ITSM processes align with ITIL standards and best practices.
Key Skills:
- 3+ years of experience as an ITSM QA Tester or ServiceNow QA.
- Hands-on experience testing ServiceNow ITSM modules:
- Incident Management
- Problem Management
- Change Management
- Request Management
- Knowledge Management
- Strong experience in QA documentation:
- Test plans, test cases, SOPs, user manuals
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, ALM, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Good understanding of ITIL processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
