Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and govern the enterprise Power BI environment, including workspace structure, deployment pipelines, tenant settings, gateways, security, and Fabric capacity management
  • Enforce governance standards for certified datasets, lineage, lifecycle management, and reusable semantic models to maintain a scalable, trusted analytics ecosystem
  • Implement optimization strategies including incremental refresh, composite models, aggregation tables, and thin-report architecture to improve performance and reduce duplication
  • Establish source control, deployment automation, and reusable development patterns to support governed enterprise analytics delivery
  • Lead development of executive dashboards and operational reporting that deliver intuitive, actionable insights and support enterprise decision-making
  • Apply UX/UI, accessibility, and data storytelling best practices to create consistent, mobile-friendly, and easy-to-consume dashboards
  • Establish reusable templates, themes, QA standards, monitoring, and automated delivery processes to ensure high-quality and scalable reporting solutions
  • Mentor analysts, engineers, and report developers on Power BI best practices, governance, data modeling, and performance optimization
  • Lead analytics enablement efforts through training, office hours, documentation, and communities of practice to accelerate adoption and self-service maturity
  • Promote a Center of Excellence operating model that balances enterprise governance with business agility
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to ensure adoption of BI, dashboard, and reporting standards and best practices
  • Evaluate emerging Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Copilot capabilities to recommend scalable, forward-looking analytics solutions

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred
  • Microsoft Power BI certification (e.g., PL-300: Power BI Data Analyst, DP-600: Fabric Analytics Engineer) preferred
  • 7-10+ years of progressive experience in analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or data engineering, with a significant portion focused on Power BI at enterprise scale
  • Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
  • Expert proficiency across the Microsoft Power BI stack, including Desktop, Service, Embedded, Report Server, and Mobile
  • Deep expertise in Power BI administration, governance, security, gateways, deployment pipelines, and Fabric/Premium capacity management
  • Strong SQL skills for enterprise data extraction, transformation, validation, and performance optimization
  • Strong BI platform migration expertise
  • Experience designing executive dashboards using UX/UI, accessibility, and data storytelling best practices
  • Experience with Power BI ALM, including Git integration, XMLA endpoints, PBIP, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines
  • Proven success improving processes, automating reporting, and scaling analytics governance
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business insights
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure and CoPilot
  • Experience with vibe coding and conversational analytics

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
