Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented PeopleSoft Tester to support quality assurance efforts for enterprise PeopleSoft applications. This role focuses on designing, developing, and executing test scripts, emphasizing automation with the PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF). The ideal candidate will ensure system functionality, performance, and reliability across multiple modules and environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scripts for PeopleSoft applications
- Utilize PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) to design and implement automated test cases
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using defect management tools
- Support test planning activities, including test strategy, test cases, and test data preparation
- Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects
- Participate in Agile or Waterfall development cycles as required
- Provide clear and concise test documentation and status reporting
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft testing, including PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF)
- Experience developing automated test scripts and executing test cycles
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices
