Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out planned preventive maintenance on production machinery
  • Attending breakdowns in a fast-paced FMCG environment

  • Using initiative to identify and solve engineering problems
  • Ensuring work is completed safely and in line with site procedures

Key Skills:

  • Recognised Mechanical or Electrical qualification (Apprenticeship, City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in FMCG / high-speed packaging
  • Hands-on mechanical and/or electrical skills maintaining production machinery
  • Ability to work independently on nights and as part of a small, close-knit team

Maintenance Engineer - Days (Sittingbourne, Kent)

Rate: £30-£35ph + Benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm (37.5 hours per week)

We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a leading international manufacturer based near Ashford, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent day role with excellent pay, great benefits, and genuine opportunities for career progression.

Maintenance Engineer Duties
