Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare statutory reporting information for the German Group
- Support and/or lead German statutory audit processes
- Assist with financial reporting across the wider European Group
- Produce monthly management accounts for central functions, including recharges, prepayments, and accruals
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Support the tax team with VAT return preparation and submissions
- Assist with tax authority information requests
- Provide financial insight and support to accounting and reporting teams
- Lead or contribute to ad hoc projects and financial analysis as required
Key Skills:
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong financial accounting background, ideally with knowledge of Germany or other European accounting standards
- IT literate including Excel and ERP Systems
- Highly analytical with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Confident communicator, able to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- A collaborative team player with a proactive approach
