Key Responsibilities:
- Perform verification and validation (V&V) tests on electronic and embedded systems.
- Assist in the design, development, and manufacturing of test fixtures, gaging products, and tools.
- PCB troubleshooting.
- Support R&D testing activities, including exploratory and formal tests.
- Troubleshoot and debug circuits and systems; interpret engineering drawings and PCB schematics.
- Operate and maintain test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, and multimeters.
- Configure and maintain test setups for video interfaces (SDI, HDMI, DisplayPort), power supplies, USB interfaces, and embedded systems (microcontrollers, FPGA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, supervisors, managers) to ensure timely execution of test plans.
- Document test results, create reports, and maintain accurate records in compliance with company standards.
- Evaluate engineering, production, and field failures to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Key Skills:
- Ability to read schematics, interpret Gerber files, and work with SolidWorks drawings.
- Extensive hands-on PCB troubleshooting experience, specifically with complex boards such as 14-layer PCBs with 1,600+ components.
