Summary: The role of Business Analyst involves supporting a client in implementing a new regulatory system by leveraging extensive Business Analysis experience, particularly in data migration processes. The candidate must possess strong communication skills to effectively engage with both client representatives and vendors, ensuring optimal outcomes. The position is focused on managing project priorities, documentation, and acting as a primary point of contact between business and development teams. Engagement is on a day rate basis, classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document data migration processes effectively.
  • Create and maintain backlog in JIRA.
  • Report on deliverables’ progress, status, issues, delays, and impacts to the Product Owner.
  • Support UAT execution.
  • Agree and manage priorities with the Product Owner and deliver associated documentation.
  • Raise project risks in a timely manner to the Product Owner and Program Manager.
  • Ensure Backlog is sufficiently groomed to sustain Sprint development capacity and project timelines.
  • Act as primary point of contact between the business and the Dev/Test teams.

We are supporting our client who are in the process of working with their vendor to implement a new regulatory system and need a new BA to support that process. This role requires a strong communicator who brings extensive Business Analysis experience gained in multiple environments and can demonstrate in-depth knowledge of data migration processes and therefore has the gravitas to push back on both the client's representatives and the vendor to ensure the best outcome. Engagement will be on a day rate basis, Outside IR35, £400-£450 per day DOE Core requirements include:

  • Strong data migration process documentation experience.
  • Experience of backlog creation and maintenance in JIRA.
  • Experience of reporting on deliverables’ progress, status, issues, delays and impacts to the Product Owner.
  • Experience of supporting UAT execution.
  • Ability to agree and manage priorities with Product Owner and deliver associated documentation.
  • Raise project risks in a timely manner to the Product Owner and Program Manager.
