Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled and considerate nursing care to patients on the Ward.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary Day Ward Team supported by experienced Ward Managers.
- Utilise the Practice Plus Group Integrated Care Pathway (ICP) during procedures.
- Coach and support team members using sound clinical and infection control knowledge.
- Encourage sharing of best practices to develop skills within the team.
Key Skills:
- Part 1 registered NMC Nurse.
- At least 2 years post-basic experience in a Surgical Hospital environment.
- Sound clinical and infection control knowledge.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to think laterally.

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team to work bank shifts across multiple departments in a modern, clean and comfortable Hospital. As part of our professional, friendly and compassionate team you will do everything you can to ensure the patient’s treatment is of the highest standard. Our focus at all times is on ensuring that our patients receive high quality treatment quickly, in clean and comfortable surroundings.
What you'll be doing You will be working as part of a friendly, welcoming and expert multidisciplinary Day Ward Team supported by our experienced Ward Managers. As a part 1 registered NMC Nurse with experience within a Surgical Hospital environment. As an experienced registered nurse you will provide skilled and considerate nursing care to patients on the Ward taking into account their specific needs during procedures utilising the appropriate Practice Plus Group Integrated Care Pathway (ICP). Your sound clinical and Infection control knowledge combined with your ability to solve problems and think both literally and laterally will enable you to coach and support others in your team. We encourage sharing of best practice across our site to develop your skills and take advantage of our excellent clinical leadership knowledge.
