Your role
We are looking for a Vmware architect to work as part of and lead a multi skilled agile team, including security, service and management where teamwork is paramount.
Your role will involve:
- Owning and driving the technical delivery of sub-components of the Managed Service from design, through to deployment to Live.
- Collaborating with the wider technical leadership to drive delivery across a number of technology areas with a focus on improving efficiency and cohesion.
- Providing input into the strategic direction and roadmaps for these key delivery areas.
- Providing architecture governance, ensuring compliance against requirements, delivery against the original outline vision and ensuring the integrity of customer environments.
Your experience
- Experience in the delivery of secure, highly resilient, large-scale IaaS, PaaS and workplace solutions.
- Expertise in Vmware VCentre, VCloud Foundation, VCloud Director, VMware Horizon, App Volumes.
- Ability to brainstorm, problem-solve and present ideas using a variety of design thinking methods available.
- Experience in the development and delivery of solutions using Agile Methodologies
