Summary: The Test Engineer (Accessibility) role involves working with a Central Government client to conduct extensive accessibility testing and full life cycle testing in Agile Digital environments. The position requires maintaining automated tests within CI/CD pipelines and ensuring compliance with accessibility standards. Candidates must have experience with accessibility testing tools and be eligible for SC clearance. This is a hybrid role based in Manchester for a duration of 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain automated tests in continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Use, develop and standardise reusable frameworks and tools following engineering practices and standards.
- Analyse and test artefacts such as products, services and business processes.
- Promote quality considerations throughout the development life cycle.
- Support the resolution of technical issues.
Key Skills:
- Experience of testing applications for accessibility compliance using JAWS, Dragon, ZoomText.
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards and Microsoft Accessibility Standards for UI and Mobile applications.
- Experience working in a government/public sector, digital and Agile environment.
- Eligibility for SC clearance.

Our Central Government Client is looking to bring in experienced Test Engineers with extensive Accessibility Testing and full life cycle testing experience in Agile Digital (DDaT) environments.
In This Role You Will

About You
For this role, you will need experience of testing applications for accessibility compliance using JAWS, Dragon, ZoomText. Additionally assessing applications against WCAG 2.2 AA standards and Microsoft Accessibility Standards for both UI and Mobile applications. This is a high profile DaT Government project which will require knowledge and past experience of working in a government/public sector, digital and Agile environment. You will also need to be eligible for SC clearance.
