Summary: The Technology Solution Architect will be instrumental in designing and delivering technology solutions that align with business needs and enterprise architecture standards. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure solutions are scalable and integrated effectively. The architect will also be responsible for translating business requirements into technical designs and providing oversight across projects. The position is critical to the firm's growth and innovation strategy within the legal sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into technical solution designs aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Create solution architecture documents including high-level designs (HLD), low-level designs (LLD), and integration specifications.
- Work hands-on with delivery teams to guide implementation and resolve technical challenges.
- Conduct architecture reviews for projects and change requests, validating alignment with EA standards.
- Design end-to-end integration solutions across Mishcon's application estate (Aderant, iManage, Intapp, HubSpot).
- Define API contracts, message schemas, and integration patterns for system connectivity.
- Architect data flows ensuring compliance with client walls, data classification, and security policies.
- Evaluate technology options and provide recommendations for build vs buy decisions.
- Conduct proof of concepts (POCs) and technical spikes to validate architectural approaches.
- Define and validate non-functional requirements (NFRs) including performance, security, and availability.
- Collaborate with Domain Architects (Data, Platform, Security, Product) to ensure solution alignment.
- Create and maintain solution architecture documentation in the architecture repository (Ardoq).
- Produce architectural decision records (ADRs) capturing key decisions and rationale.
- Present solution designs for governance forums (TAB, CAB) for review and approval.
- Mentor SME's and technical leads on architecture patterns and best practices.
Key Skills:
- Experience in solution architecture, technical design, or senior development roles.
- Strong experience designing integration solutions across enterprise applications.
- Excellent knowledge of API design, messaging patterns, and integration architectures.
- Experience with Azure services (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, APIM).
- Knowledge of legal tech applications (Aderant, iManage, Intapp) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of security architecture principles and data protection.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server) and data integration patterns.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and modern delivery approaches.
