Summary: The role of Technical Architect involves working on high-profile projects within established London architecture and design studios on a contract basis. Candidates will be expected to deliver work across various RIBA stages, focusing on residential, commercial, education, and mixed-use sectors. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver work across RIBA Stages 3–5
- Develop and coordinate technical packages and detailed design documentation
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and in-house teams
- Produce accurate models, drawings, and technical details
- Ensure the smooth delivery of high-quality, buildable design solutions
Key Skills:
- Professional experience at Architect, Part 2/3, or Technician level
- Proficiency in Revit (essential) – modelling, detailing, and documentation
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and planning policy
- UK-based project experience required
- Additional skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Suite are a bonus
- Availability to start immediately or within 1–2 weeks preferred
