Summary: The Sr Oracle OTL Functional Lead is responsible for leading the implementation of Oracle OTL, conducting requirement gathering workshops, and providing functional solution design and support. This role requires expertise in configuring OTL and developing complex Fast Formulas while collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless integration and issue resolution. The position is based in the USA and offers remote or hybrid working arrangements. The role is classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end implementation activities for Oracle OTL.
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops with business stakeholders.
- Provide functional solution design, configuration, and production support expertise.
- Prepare functional design documents (FDs), configuration workbooks, and test scripts.
- Lead CRP, SIT, UAT, and Go-Live phases.
- Configure OTL Time Entry Rules, Time Processing Rules, Time Entry Layouts, Time Categories, and Time Recording Profiles.
- Develop and optimize complex OTL Fast Formulas, including Time Calculation, Time Validation, Time Entry, and Payroll integration formulas.
- Work closely with Payroll teams to ensure seamless integration and time transfer.
- Collaborate with HCM Core HR, Absence, Payroll, and Technical teams.
- Provide guidance to offshore/onshore teams.
- Partner with client SMEs to ensure business process alignment.
- Troubleshoot OTL configuration and rule-related issues.
- Provide root cause analysis and propose long-term solutions.
- Support migration activities across environments.
Key Skills:
- 8+ years of Oracle HCM/OTL functional experience.
- Minimum 4 full lifecycle Oracle Cloud OTL implementations (E2E).
- Strong experience writing and troubleshooting OTL Fast Formulas.
- Deep understanding of Time Entry & Approvals, Time Processing Rules, Payroll integrations, Work Schedules, HCM Security, and Time Reporting processes.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to lead workshops and drive functional decisions with client stakeholders.
- Oracle HCM Cloud certification (OTL or HCM) is preferred.
- Experience with OTL integrations using HDL, HCM Extracts, or OIC is preferred.
- Prior experience working in large global environments is preferred.
- Experience collaborating with distributed teams (onshore/offshore) is preferred.
