Summary: The Senior Workday HCM Analyst role is a 4-month contract position based in Swindon, requiring hybrid work arrangements. The successful candidate will support and enhance Workday business processes within a public sector organization, focusing on recruiting, reporting, and HR process optimization. Essential qualifications include Workday HCM certification and significant experience in Workday configuration and support. Public sector experience is highly desirable for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and enhance Workday business processes, security, data loads, and deployments.
  • Lead and support a highly visible Workday environment with a focus on Recruiting, Reporting, and HR process optimization.
  • Deliver system enhancements, reporting solutions, and operational support within complex organizational environments.
  • Manage Workday releases, system upgrades, and impact assessments.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions through strong stakeholder engagement.
  • Support operational BAU activities while delivering continuous system improvements.

Key Skills:

  • Workday HCM Certification (essential).
  • 5+ years' hands-on experience with Workday HCM configuration and support.
  • Strong expertise in Workday Recruiting and Reporting & Analytics.
  • Experience with Workday Integrations or Security administration.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end HR and Talent Acquisition processes.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and HR data governance best practices.
  • Workday HCM and/or Recruiting certification preferred.

This is a *Swindon* Hybrid based role with an excellent immediate start within a Public Sector organisation working on *supporting and enhancing Workday business processes, security, data loads, and deployments.*

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Workday HCM Analyst to lead and support a highly visible Workday environment, with a strong focus on Recruiting, Reporting, and HR process optimisation. The successful candidate will bring deep functional Workday expertise, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and experience delivering system enhancements, reporting solutions, and operational support within complex organisational environments.

Key Experience Required

  • 5+ years' hands-on experience with Workday HCM configuration and support.
  • Strong expertise in Workday Recruiting, including requisitions, candidate workflows, and offer management.
  • Advanced experience in Workday Reporting & Analytics, including workforce and recruitment reporting dashboards.
  • Proven experience supporting and enhancing Workday business processes, security, data loads, and deployments.
  • Experience with Workday Integrations or Security administration.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end HR and Talent Acquisition processes.
  • Experience optimising recruiting and HR workflows to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Experience managing Workday releases, system upgrades, and impact assessments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and HR data governance best practices.
  • Ability to support operational BAU activities while delivering continuous system improvements.
  • Workday HCM and/or Recruiting certification preferred.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience with Workday Prism Analytics.
  • Exposure to Workday Recruiting integrations such as job boards and background screening providers.
  • Knowledge of additional Workday modules including Compensation, Absence, Benefits, Payroll, Finance, and Onboarding.
  • Experience working within large, complex, or public-sector organisations.
  • Strong collaboration experience with HR teams, Talent Acquisition, and hiring managers.
