Summary: The Senior Project Manager for Service Transformation will lead a significant workstream within a large-scale transformation programme at a leading education organization. This role focuses on redesigning and improving student services across a complex multi-faculty environment, transitioning from the review phase to implementation. The successful candidate will engage with senior stakeholders and project teams to drive operational improvements and enhance service delivery. This position is a 2-year fixed-term contract based in London with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a key workstream within a large-scale transformation programme
- Support service redesign and operational improvement activity across multiple service areas
- Translate process mapping outputs into practical implementation plans and operational improvements
- Support the development and implementation of new operating models across central and local service functions
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders across multiple business areas
- Identify opportunities to enhance and improve service delivery
- Work collaboratively with programme, project, and communications teams to support change adoption and implementation
- Contribute to service improvement initiatives, governance structures, and operational planning
- Help drive operational improvements across a complex service environment

- Proven experience delivering transformation or service improvement projects within complex organisations
- Strong project or programme management capability, with experience supporting large-scale change initiatives
- Experience working on service redesign, process improvement, or operational transformation activity
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build credibility across senior and operational audiences
- Experience navigating matrix or multi-stakeholder environments with competing priorities
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with a collaborative and pragmatic approach
