Summary: The Senior PMO / Project Manager role focuses on leading a large-scale transformation and remediation programme within a complex enterprise environment in Belfast. The position requires strong governance, delivery oversight, and stakeholder engagement across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory expectations. The successful candidate will utilize PMO best practices to drive project delivery and monitor progress effectively. This role is hybrid and classified as inside IR35 for a duration of 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive governance, delivery oversight, and stakeholder engagement across multiple workstreams.
  • Ensure strong PMO controls, effective reporting, and successful delivery against strategic programme objectives.
  • Work closely with Markets product lines, programme leadership, and cross-functional teams to drive remediation activity.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure delivery remains aligned to business goals and regulatory expectations.
  • Prepare concise project and Markets progress reports tailored to different stakeholder audiences.
  • Utilize PMO best practice methodologies including plans, RAID logs, and governance controls.
  • Proactively track programme delivery against milestones and objectives.
  • Identify and escalate risks and issues early through strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Facilitate remediation and change engagement activities across multiple teams.
  • Define and enforce project management governance and delivery standards.
  • Work within Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.

Key Skills:

  • Strong PMO and/or Project Management experience within large-scale business change or transformation programmes.
  • Experience preparing concise project and Markets progress reports tailored to different stakeholder audiences.
  • Strong experience utilizing PMO best practice methodologies including plans, RAID logs, and governance controls.
  • Strong problem-solving capability with the ability to identify and escalate risks and issues early.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technology functions.
  • Experience facilitating remediation and change engagement activities across multiple teams.
  • Ability to drive delivery outcomes and coordinate complex interdependent workstreams.

Our customer is seeking an experienced PMO / Project Manager with a strong Business Change background to support a large-scale transformation and remediation programme within a complex enterprise environment. You will play a key role in driving governance, delivery oversight and stakeholder engagement across multiple workstreams, acting as a representative for Markets within the wider programme structure. This role will focus on ensuring strong PMO controls, effective reporting and successful delivery against strategic programme objectives. You will work closely with Markets product lines, programme leadership and cross-functional teams to drive remediation activity, monitor project progress and ensure delivery remains aligned to business goals and regulatory expectations.

Essential Experience
