Summary: The Senior Officer role in Retail Banking Operations at UOB focuses on supporting financial transactions and the issuance of banking instruments. Key Responsibilities:
- Verification Officer, able to understand customer/Business Units (BU) letter/memo of instruction and ensure documents received are in order for processing
- Verify customer / BU signatures and ensure BU grids are complied with
- Communicate with internal customer / BU regarding customer / BU letter / memo of instruction
- Exercise vigilance when performing transactions and report any unusual or suspicious transactions immediately to supervisor
- Perform end-of-day reconciliation of instructions received
- Perform financial transactions as maker role
Key Skills:
- Diploma or Degree in Banking & Finance or a related field is preferred
- Preferably at least 2 years of Banking experience
- Maintains a positive attitude and demonstrates a strong willingness to learn
- A team player committed to achieving shared goals
- Highly attentive to detail and capable of working independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with financial systems and reconciliation processes is an advantage
- Has knowledge on financial transactions which include Internal Funds Transfer, Account Closure

Cashier's Order and Demand Draft Issuance.
