Summary: The role of Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Offshore involves working in a hybrid capacity, primarily from a London office, focusing on offshore site characterization and supporting jack-up activities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting scoping, planning, and operations for geotechnical site investigations and laboratory testing.
  • Interpreting and analyzing large geotechnical datasets to deliver high-quality site characterizations and engineering soil/rock properties.

Key Skills:

  • Relevant Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Geotechnical experience in foundation and cable design, installation constraints, and understanding interfaces with different engineering disciplines.
  • Proven experience with planning, scoping, and execution of offshore geotechnical site investigations, operational and in situ techniques.

We have an amazing (Contract) opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer with Offshore experience within the energy sector. The role is hybrid 3 days working out of our clients London office . The Engineer will have experience in offshore site characterisation work and support to jack-up activities by processing and validating geotechnical data, including AGS data handling and with writing Geotechnical Interpretation Reports (GIRs).

Duties :

  • Reviewing of leg penetration and spudcan-quay wall interaction analyses.
  • Reviewing of leg penetration analysis and vessel suitability; High level jack-up installation assessment.
  • Supporting scoping, planning and operations for geotechnical site investigations and laboratory testing

Required:
