Summary: The Senior Analyst, Finance Systems role involves supporting the Finance Planning & Analysis team by managing financial systems, specifically Just Produce and SAP ECC. The position requires expertise in finance processes and system configurations, as well as collaboration with finance stakeholders to optimize workflows. The analyst will also provide training and support for end-users while ensuring compliance with financial controls. This is a hybrid position based in London, United Kingdom, for a duration of 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Just Produce (Microsoft Dynamics NAV) within the finance function.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to financial processes and translate them into NAV system configurations or enhancements.
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to optimize workflows such as Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Project Budgeting and Costing within NAV.
- Support NAV integrations with other systems (e.g. Informatica, Pagero).
- Assist finance teams with mapping and reconciliation and resolution of issues NAV to SAP interface.
- Assist in the reporting system (BW/Bex) upgrade to SAP AO.
- Develop and execute test plans, including unit testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide end-user training, support, and documentation for NAV-related processes.
- Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with NAV Support or IT for resolution.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls, audit requirements, and data governance policies.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance systems analysis, with at least 3 years in Navision/Dynamics NAV.
- Strong understanding of finance processes (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, budgeting).
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel (including macros), and reporting tools.
- Experience with system integrations and data migration projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Experience in the service industry, especially with project-based or contract revenue models (desired).
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Business Central (upgrade path from Navision) (desired).
- Experience with SAP ECC or S4 and reporting tools in the SAP suite (e.g., BW, AO, Bex) (desired).
- Certification in Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central is a plus (desired).

Primary purpose of position: Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance Systems, the Senior Analyst, is part (together with the Finance Business Partners & the Senior Manager, Finance Systems) of the Finance Planning & Analysis team – which maintains and advises Opcos on budgets/forecast and consolidation of financial performance data. The team is responsible for ensuring that the Opco’s provide financial planning/reporting information to Group on a timely basis; for presenting regular management & financial reporting to Group senior management; and for supporting HQ and Opcos on the training, policies and best practices in the use of client's finance systems – Just Produce (a customised version of MS Navision) for cost and production management, and SAP ECC for revenue/billing, consolidation and tax reporting.
