Summary: The Security Architect will lead the security requirements analysis for a major Government department's Move to Cloud programme, focusing on a database platform. This role involves stakeholder engagement to enhance cloud security standards and providing leadership to technical teams. The architect will produce a Requirements and Impact Analysis report and document technical options for security architecture frameworks. Experience with client-side field level encryption in Oracle environments is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:

Job Description: Security Architect required to lead Security requirements analysis phase on Move to Cloud programme of major Government department Database platform.
Required Skills and Experience: Stakeholder engagement required to drive out an updated view on current Departmental security standards and broker an enhanced set of Cloud security standards. Target technical platform is Oracle on AWS with a Java middleware layer and Pro*C, PL/SQL batch application. Provide leadership and direction to technical engineering/development resources in impacting potential security requirements and drive out technical approaches and solutions. The architect will be responsible for the production of a Requirements and Impact Analysis report, and documenting technical options and candidate security architecture frameworks to meet the client requirements. Experience with Client-side field level encryption in a large-scale Oracle custom apps environment would be ideal.
