Summary: A Security Architect is needed for a 6-month contract in Warwick, focusing on integrating security into global projects within a decentralized cybersecurity model. Key Responsibilities:
- Own and define the security scope and architecture across a variety of globally deployed projects, driving security requirements, patterns, and approaches through established governance processes.
- Provide day-to-day security advisory support to development and DevOps teams, ensuring solutions comply with security requirements and that residual risks are captured and appropriately owned.
- Conduct first-line risk assessments to identify cyber threats and vulnerabilities, developing and implementing strategies to mitigate risk and enhance the overall security posture.
- Perform supply chain assurance activities, including vendor contract reviews to ensure appropriate security clauses and addendums are in place.
- Maintain documentation and reporting across security activities including risk assessments, incident response, and compliance audits.
Key Skills:
- Security architecture- 3-6 years of experience in a similar role, with proven ability to define and own security architecture across complex, multi-workstream programmes.
- CDE & BIM security- Hands-on experience securing Common Data Environment and Building Information Modelling solutions, ideally aligned with ISO 19650 standards.
- API & integration security- Demonstrated experience undertaking API security risk assessments and securing enterprise platform integrations.
- Regulated data environments- Experience managing data security and handling considerations within a regulated industry, ideally energy or critical national infrastructure.
- Stakeholder communication- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across project teams, suppliers, and security leadership in a fast-paced, agile environment.
