Summary: This role is for a SC Cleared Service Transition Consultant with expertise in ITIL frameworks, tasked with managing service transitions for various ITIL-focused programs. The position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver business change while adhering to project methodologies. The consultant must have current SC clearance and be available within two weeks. The role offers a competitive daily rate and is hybrid in nature.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work within an ITIL Service Management framework.
- Manage service transitions/projects using recognized project methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, PMI, Agile, Waterfall).
- Deliver business change, including matrix management of project/work stream teams.
- Oversee service readiness, introduction, or transition management roles.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
- Manage workload against external deadlines.
- Understand new technologies and their support issues, particularly Cloud or Hybrid services.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrable experience in ITIL Service Management.
- Experience with project methodologies (PRINCE2, APM, PMI, Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong customer service focus.
- Established interpersonal skills, initiative, and communication abilities.
- SC/DV ITIL v3/v4 qualification (minimum Foundation Certification).
- Current SC clearance.

URGENT opportunity for a SC Cleared Service Transition Consultant to join a organisation managing a number of inflight ITIL focused programmes.
Essential Requirements:
Demonstrable experience of working within an ITIL Service Management framework
Experience of managing service transitions/projects following recognised project methodologies (eg PRINCE2/APM/PMI/Agile/Waterfall)
Demonstrable experience of delivering business change - including Matrix management of project/work stream teams
Previous exposure to service readiness, introduction or transition management roles
Able to demonstrate an excellent customer service focussed approach
Evidence of an understanding of new technologies and their support issues, in particular Cloud or Hybrid services
Established interpersonal skills, initiative, communication, negotiating, influencing and team working
Demonstrable experience of managing own workload, against a backdrop of external deadlines
Demonstrable ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships
Qualifications: SC/DV ITIL v3/v4 qualification (Foundation Certification minimum)
