London or Manchester | Hybrid (2 days onsite) Inside IR35 | £650 per day | 12-month contract

We are partnering with a major government department in their search for a Senior Python Engineer to support a Data transformation programme.

What we're looking for:

  • 6+ years engineering experience, leading the delivery of production digital services
  • Strong Python skills (Ruby a plus)
  • Experience across multiple services - ideally data platforms / open data services
  • A big-picture mindset: not just implementing requirements, but influencing future direction
  • Version control best practice ( Git ), Agile methods, containerisation ( Docker/Kubernetes )
  • Cloud deployment experience (any major provider)
  • Government or Civil Service experience
