We are partnering with a major government department in their search for a Senior Python Engineer to support a Data transformation programme.
What we're looking for:
- 6+ years engineering experience, leading the delivery of production digital services
- Strong Python skills (Ruby a plus)
- Experience across multiple services - ideally data platforms / open data services
- A big-picture mindset: not just implementing requirements, but influencing future direction
- Version control best practice ( Git ), Agile methods, containerisation ( Docker/Kubernetes )
- Cloud deployment experience (any major provider)
- Government or Civil Service experience
