Summary: The MDG Architect role focuses on leading solution architecture and full lifecycle implementation of SAP Master Data Governance within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector. The position requires extensive experience in SAP MDG, strong architectural thinking, and effective stakeholder engagement. The candidate will be responsible for both functional and technical design, ensuring successful project delivery. This role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of three days onsite per week in Slough, Berkshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Functional & Technical Design
- Data modelling & UI modelling
- Rules & validations configuration using BRF+
- Replication modelling – DRFin & DRFout
- IDOCs, ALE & SOAP services integration for SAP MDG
- High-level logical data model definition aligned with MDG feasibility
- Define future-state solution architecture
- Integration with source & consuming systems
- Application architecture design
- External vendor/data access
- Security, performance & scalability strategies
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops
- Provide estimations for SAP MDG implementations
- Full lifecycle implementation: Blueprinting, Fit-Gap analysis, Configuration, Data migration, Cutover, Go-Live support
- Own deliverables across all project phases
- Work within SAP Activate methodology
- Share best practices & technical approaches
- Identify common MDG implementation challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams
