Summary: The VMware AVI Architect role focuses on designing multi-cloud and hybrid architecture, integrating traffic strategies, and ensuring seamless ecosystem integration. Key Responsibilities:
- Multi-Cloud & Hybrid Architecture Design: Responsible for the High-Level Design (HLD) of the Avi ecosystem, including Controller clustering, Controller and SE sizing, network design, and multi-tenancy strategies across on-premises, public cloud, and edge environments.
- Integrated Traffic Strategy (SLB/GSLB): Architects the global and local traffic management vision, defining site persistence, DNS delegation, and failover workflows to ensure application resilience and an optimal user experience for the customer.
- Modern Ingress & Ecosystem Integration: Designs the framework for Avi Kubernetes Operator (AKO) and third-party integrations (IPAM/DNS, Firewalls, or Monitoring tools), ensuring the Avi solution fits seamlessly into the customer's existing technology stack.
