Required Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux patch management in enterprise environments.
- Experience with Red Hat Satellite Server for patching, provisioning, system management, and compliance.
- Strong experience with IBM AIX Operating systems managing LPAR s via VIO s and NIM servers
- Experience automating patching and system administration tasks using Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or shell scripting.
- Strong understanding of the patch management lifecycle, including testing, deployment, rollback, validation, and reporting. Experience with vulnerability remediation and security patching.
- Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as CISA Kev, PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOX, Experience working with ticketing and change management tools such as ServiceNow.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Linux operating systems, networking, storage, and application dependencies.
- Knowledge of Linux services and protocols such as DNS, SSH, HTTP/HTTPS, NFS, LDAP, DHCP, FTP, BIND, NAS, and SAN.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a remote enterprise support model.
- Strong documentation, communication, and coordination skills.
