Detailed Description From Employer:

Latitude is seeking UK-based corporate paralegals to assist one of its AmLaw 50 law firm clients with an internal project involving complex finance agreements. This is a flexible, multi-month contract engagement and candidates may work remotely from any location in the United Kingdom. Prior experience working in the corporate finance practice group of a mid-to-large size law firm assisting private equity groups, commercial lending institutions and/or major public and private companies in connection with the structuring, negotiation and documentation of secured and unsecured financing transactions, acquisition financings, recapitalizations, loan workouts and restructurings, is preferred.

Requirements for the UK-Based Corporate Finance Paralegal (Remote Contract Engagement):

  • 5+ years of corporate paralegal experience, preferably with a large corporate firm or large corporate legal department is preferred
  • Prior experience supporting corporate finance practice group of a mid-to-large size law firm assisting private equity groups, commercial lending institutions and/or major public and private companies is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail is a must
  • Outstanding references

Compensation Pay: The annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 or more when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).

Benefits: All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
