Testing Lead (HP ALM) only W2

Summary: The Testing Lead role involves overseeing the testing strategy for a 9-month contract, focusing on manual and automated testing processes. The position requires strong communication skills and collaboration with various teams, including SCRUM and Environment Management. The candidate should have extensive experience in testing environments, particularly in cloud settings, and be proficient in tools like HP ALM and Selenium. This is a fully remote position based in the USA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the testing strategy
• Allocate resources effectively for testing activities
• Manage automation testers, functional testers, and CAT testers
• Assist in identifying appropriate test environments for each release
• Collaborate with the Environment Management Team and SCRUM teams
• Act as the Testing Lead, with strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Collaborate and report to the application team leaders, business partners, and ELT on a routine basis
• Responsible for Chaos and HA testing

Key Skills:

• Experience in creating clear test plans and scenarios using HP ALM or similar tools
• Proficiency in manual testing with knowledge of when to incorporate automated testing
• Ability to build and utilize Test Automation scripts and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, UFT)
• Understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of Version One or other work management tools
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in testing environment
• Experience testing in cloud environments, Google Cloud Platform or Azure preferred
• Knowledge of SQL for querying databases
• Familiarity with postman for Web services testing
• Understanding of SDLC and application lifecycle
