Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester specializing in Microsoft Dynamics applications to join our quality assurance team. The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting both manual and automated tests to ensure the quality and performance of our solutions. This role requires collaboration with developers, business analysts, and end-users to deliver high-quality applications that meet organizational needs. An active security clearance is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning: Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications for Microsoft Dynamics applications.
  • Test Execution: Perform manual and automated testing of Dynamics 365 modules, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects; work with development teams to ensure timely resolution and retesting.
  • Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into effective test scenarios.
  • Test Documentation: Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test results, coverage metrics, and quality status reports.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements to testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance product quality and team efficiency.
  • User Support: Assist end-users during UAT and provide support for testing-related queries and issues.
  • Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure testing activities comply with organizational standards and best practices.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 modules, workflows, and business processes.
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience with MS Dynamics products at the Department of Veteran's Affairs.
