Summary: The ServiceNow Implementation Specialist is responsible for leading full lifecycle ServiceNow SPM implementations, from initial discovery to post-go-live support. This role involves conducting business analysis, facilitating requirements workshops, and designing solutions within the ServiceNow SPM suite. The specialist will also provide technical leadership, manage platform infrastructure, and support various project methodologies across client environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full lifecycle ServiceNow SPM implementations-from initial discovery through deployment and post-go-live support.
- Conduct business analysis sessions to understand strategic objectives, portfolio management needs, and process improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate requirements workshops, translating business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Design and configure solutions within the ServiceNow SPM suite, including Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management, Resource Management, and Agile Development.
- Deliver tailored solutions aligned with client goals, ensuring scalability, usability, and compliance with standards (e.g., FedRAMP, DoD IL-4/IL-5).
- Define user stories for both greenfield implementations and enhancement projects.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to internal teams and client stakeholders, including guiding small implementation teams or developers.
- Manage platform infrastructure and ensure smooth operation of SPM and PPM processes.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, bug fixes, and root cause analysis to maintain system integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead technical design sessions and ensure successful delivery.
- Contribute to process documentation, training materials, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies across diverse client environments.
