Summary: We’re seeking a Mid-Senior level SEO Performance Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of performance marketing strategies, focusing on SEO and digital channels. This role combines hands-on execution with strategic oversight, requiring collaboration with senior team members and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and a desire to grow into a strategic performance marketer. This position offers an opportunity to significantly impact client visibility and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in the development and execution of digital marketing strategies across SEO and broader performance channels
- Deliver hands-on SEO activity including technical audits, keyword research, content optimisation and on-site recommendations
- Monitor performance across campaigns, identifying opportunities and prioritising activity based on impact vs effort
- Support reporting and analysis, translating data into clear insights and actions for clients
- Contribute to client communication, including preparing reports and participating in meetings
- Collaborate with internal teams (Paid, Content, Dev, Client Services) to ensure integrated delivery
- Support website projects through audits, competitor analysis and SEO recommendations
- Conduct ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation across organic (and where relevant paid) strategies
- Ensure SEO best practices are implemented across client websites and new builds
- Support wider team initiatives such as methodology development, presentations and events
Key Skills:
- 2–4 years’ experience across SEO or performance marketing
- Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals (technical, content and on-page optimisation)
- Experience using tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, BrightEdge or similar
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise effectively
- Experience contributing to client strategy or owning smaller accounts
- High attention to detail and quality of output
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident using Excel / Google Sheets
- Stronger focus on content for search versus technical
- Exposure to other channels (Paid Search, CRO, Content, Social)
- Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript or CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress)
- Experience with reporting tools such as Looker Studio
- Understanding of longer sales cycles and B2B marketing environments
