Job Highlights

Hourly Rate: USD 11.20, the equivalent in your local currency

Paid Hours per Week: 40 Hours

Schedule: Flexible (Sydney Time)

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. Responsibilities

  • Strategic SEO Planning: Develop and execute a full-funnel SEO strategy encompassing technical, on-page, and off-page elements to dominate search results for key industry terms.
  • Advanced Keyword & Content Strategy: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-value opportunities. Plan and map keyword targets to a content calendar that positions our client as a thought leader.
  • SEO-Optimized Content Writing: Write and/or edit compelling, SEO-optimized content—including landing pages, blog articles, and press releases—that seamlessly integrates keywords while engaging a discerning audience.
  • Technical SEO Audits & Optimization: Perform regular site audits to identify and resolve technical issues (crawl errors, site speed, mobile-friendliness, indexing) that impact search performance.
  • On-Page Optimization: Optimize all on-page elements including meta tags, headers, image ALT text, and schema markup to maximize relevance and click-through rates.
  • Authority Building: Design and manage a powerful internal linking structure. Lead a proactive backlink outreach campaign to secure high-quality, authoritative links from relevant publications and industry leaders.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics (rankings, traffic, conversions) using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush. Use data to refine continuously and improve strategy.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in an SEO role, with a portfolio of demonstrable success in growing organic traffic and rankings for competitive niches.
