Summary: The Senior Workday HCM Analyst will be responsible for managing and optimizing workflows related to Time Tracking, Absence, and payroll processes. This role involves supporting urgent stabilization actions, providing ongoing incident support, and identifying opportunities for innovation within the system. The analyst will also maintain documentation and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn configuration for Time Tracking, Absence, and payroll-related workflows: time entry, validations, eligibility, accrual rules, calendars/schedules, BPs, and security.
- Review runbooks for time/absence cycles and payroll support procedures, including cutoffs and escalation paths.
- Triage issues that impact pay accuracy: time entry errors, approvals, validation failures, accrual discrepancies, BP routing issues, and security/access problems.
- Support urgent stabilization actions with strong testing discipline and documented workarounds when needed.
- Provide ongoing incident/request/problem support, including support for cyclical events (time periods, approvals, absence processing, payroll-adjacent support as applicable).
- Maintain job aids/knowledge articles and partner with stakeholders to reduce recurring errors.
- Identify opportunities to simplify time/absence workflows, strengthen validations, and improve self-service guidance to reduce downstream payroll impacts.
- Deliver more complex enhancements/projects (new rules, redesigned approvals, improved reporting packs, targeted automation) with rigorous testing and change readiness.
- Workday Time Tracking, Absence, and payroll-adjacent operational support including BPs, security, validations/rules, operational reporting, and cycle readiness.
