Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical consulting and support for PACS implementations.
  • Understand and analyze Radiology workflows and Radiology IT systems.
  • Troubleshoot DICOM workflow issues and provide solutions.
  • Engage in stakeholder management and technical presentations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and documentation related to PACS projects.
  • Utilize AI productivity tools and AWS concepts in project execution.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Health Science, Business, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Technical Consulting, Customer Support, or the Healthcare industry.
  • 8+ years’ PACS implementation experience.
  • Strong understanding of Radiology workflows and IT.
  • Healthcare IT/IS background.
  • Experience with Windows Server, HL7, DICOM, SQL/Oracle, and cloud environments (AWS preferred).
  • Strong communication skills, RCA, data analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Familiarity with AWS concepts (EC2, S3).

We have a new contract opportunity for a Senior Technical Consultant – PACS , working remotely , with candidates required to be based in either the UK or Romania . This role is inside IR35 (for UK candidates). As this is a new client, we are looking to keep rates as competitive as possible. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Health Science, Business, Engineering, or equivalent. 5+ years’ experience in Technical Consulting, Customer Support, or the Healthcare industry. 8+ years’ PACS implementation experience, with strong understanding of Radiology workflows and Radiology IT. Healthcare IT/IS background, including troubleshooting DICOM workflow issues. Experience with Windows Server , HL7 , DICOM , networking concepts, SQL/Oracle , and cloud environments (AWS preferred). Strong communication skills, RCA, data analysis, stakeholder management, documentation, risk assessment, and technical presentations.
