Summary: The Senior SQL Developer with CA Plex is responsible for maintaining and supporting a CA Plex-based CMS, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing enhancements. The role involves database management, system integration support, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure data integrity and compliance with judicial policies. The candidate will also document system changes and assist in knowledge transfer to internal teams. This position requires extensive experience in application development and CA Plex environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support the CA Plex-based CMS across multiple environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, defects, and data anomalies
- Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable fixes
- Provide on-call or escalation support for critical system issues
- Design, develop, and implement enhancements within the CA Plex model
- Modify existing business rules, screens and workflows, batch processes and reports
- Ensure all changes align with judicial policies and statutory requirements
- Work directly within the CA Plex development environment to update objects, functions, and relationships
- Regenerate and deploy application components
- Maintain integrity of the model-driven architecture as the system evolves
- Write and optimize SQL Server (T-SQL) queries, stored procedures, and data fixes
- Support data corrections and performance tuning for large datasets
- Ensure data accuracy across integrated systems
- Maintain and support integrations with law enforcement, DMV eDisposition, eCitation systems, and public index platforms
- Assist in adapting legacy I/O processes as APIs are introduced
- Support reporting needs by developing queries and extracts
- Collaborate with analytics teams to ensure data consistency
- Work closely with Court Administration, IT leadership, and development teams
- Translate business requirements into technical updates within the CMS
- Document system changes, business rules, and technical processes
- Assist in knowledge transfer to internal staff and modernization teams
Key Skills:
- Experience in judicial, government, or public sector environments
- Experience with data warehouse architecture (star/snowflake schema)
- Power BI backend optimization
- .NET application data access patterns

- Familiarity with Imperva or similar security appliances
