Summary: The Senior Oracle PL/SQL Programmer Analyst will support a modernization initiative focused on migrating legacy enterprise applications to an AWS cloud environment. This role requires expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, analytical skills for understanding undocumented legacy code, and experience with data migration and ETL workflows. The candidate will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to redesign critical business modules, ensuring accuracy and reliability in the modernized system. Occasional onsite reporting is required for meetings with user groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, understand, and document existing legacy application architecture, workflows, data models, and stored procedures.
  • Review, refactor, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views for cloud migration.
  • Migrate Crystal Reports to modern reporting platforms compatible with AWS.
  • Support ETL activities, including extracting, mapping, validating, and transforming data for system conversion.
  • Analyze and document complex logic modules such as sentence computation and related core functions.
  • Convert legacy DHTML-based UI forms into modern user interface components as part of system redesign.
  • Identify, document, and assist in rebuilding backend automation tasks and scheduled jobs.
  • Collaborate with a third-party vendor to clarify requirements and support modernization tasks.
  • Participate in technical reviews and provide recommendations for system optimization, performance, and best practices.

Job Summary
