Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server environments.
- Oversee Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (VxRail & vSAN) management and upgrades.
- Implement and troubleshoot VMware NSX-T networking solutions.
- Deploy and operate VMware HCX for cloud migration and mobility.
- Utilize Site Recovery Manager (SRM) for disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Work with VMware Aria Suite for observability, automation, and management.
- Integrate cloud and multi-cloud solutions using VMware Cloud Foundation.
- Ensure security, governance, and compliance within VMware environments.

Desired Skills :
- 1. Core Virtualization (vSphere Platform) Deep hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server (VCSA). Lifecycle management: installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching using Lifecycle Manager (vLCM). Strong troubleshooting of VM performance, host issues, DRS, HA, vMotion, snapshots, datastore problems, and host networking. Familiarity with VMware validated architectures and best practices for scalable enterprise deployments. Experience with certificates, identity federation, SSO, and vCenter topology design.
- 2. Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (VxRail & vSAN) Hands-on experience with Dell EMC VxRail appliance management and upgrades using VxRail Manager/Lifecycle. Strong understanding of vSAN (Original vSAN, ESA, OSA) including: disk groups, policies, FTT, RAID1/5/6, dedupe & compression performance tuning and fault-domain design stretched clusters & 2-node ROBO sites Ability to diagnose vSAN performance, resync issues, capacity, and health alarms. Knowledge of hardware compatibility rules (HCL), firmware baselines, and VxRail-vSphere version alignment.
- 3. Networking & NSX Experience with VMware NSX-T (now Broadcom NSX): Logical routing, segments, T1/T0 gateways Distributed firewall, micro-segmentation policies Load balancing & NAT NSX edge clusters & transport zones Understanding of underlay networking concepts: VLANs, LACP, MTU, BGP/OSPF basics.

- 10. Hardware, Storage & Ecosystem Knowledge Familiar with Dell, HPE, Lenovo server platforms + iDRAC/iLO configurations. Understanding of SAN concepts (FC, iSCSI), multipath, NFS, VMFS, vVols. Knowledge of switch platforms relevant to VMware/NSX (Arista, Cisco, Dell). Experience with firmware/driver alignment and HCL validation.
- 11. Enterprise Operations & Support Experience supporting large enterprise production environments. Strong incident, problem, change, and crisis management skills.
