Summary: The Senior Developer role focuses on designing, developing, and enhancing critical content systems and infrastructure using Java and Kotlin within an AWS serverless environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Core Content team to design, develop, and enhance critical content systems and infrastructure
- Contribute to the development of AI-enabled infrastructure and services
- Deliver iterative improvements, including bug fixes, new features, and system reliability enhancements
- Collaborate with Solution Managers to define and execute development priorities
- Support and maintain tooling, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines
- Ensure high performance and scalability across content delivery systems and CDNs
- Participate in team updates, technical discussions, and cross-functional collaboration
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for production systems
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Advanced proficiency in Java and Kotlin
- Strong experience with AWS serverless technologies (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.)
- Experience working with Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) and distributed systems
- Proven ability to deliver scalable, reliable backend services
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and DevOps practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an iterative, agile environment
