SAP EWM Consultant - Remote

Summary: The role of SAP WM Consultant focuses on providing expertise in SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) systems, particularly in the context of ECC and S/4HANA. The consultant will be responsible for various warehouse operations, including inventory management, putaway and picking strategies, and cross-module integration. This position is remote, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements. Candidates should possess a strong background in SAP WM/EWM functionalities and related enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and support SAP WM/EWM functionalities in ECC and S/4HANA.
• Manage warehouse structure including storage types, bins, and sections.
• Develop and optimize putaway and picking strategies such as FIFO, LIFO, and wave picking.
• Oversee inbound and outbound processes including goods receipt, putaway, picking, packing, and goods issue.
• Handle unit management and inventory management tasks including cycle counting and stock transfers.
• Utilize RF framework and barcode/RF scanning technologies.
• Support EWM functionalities such as wave management and replenishment.
• Integrate with cross-modules including MM, SD, PP, and QM.
• Manage batch and serial number tracking.
• Enhance system functionalities through user exits, BADIs, and basic ABAP debugging.
• Work with IDocs and data migration processes.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in SAP WM and EWM, including ECC and S/4HANA.
• Experience with warehouse structure and inventory management.
• Knowledge of putaway and picking strategies.
