Summary: The PMO Lead for the S/4HANA Transformation will oversee all PMO activities within the UK S/4HANA programme, ensuring adherence to governance frameworks and facilitating decision-making processes. This role requires strong leadership in coordinating cross-functional teams and delivering executive-level insights. The position is remote but may require travel as necessary. The contract is set for 12 months with an immediate start date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all PMO activity supporting the SLS ERP workstream within the UK S/4HANA programme.
  • Ensure governance frameworks, standards, and reporting requirements are followed.
  • Coordinate steering committees, governance forums and programme-level decision-making.
  • Maintain integrated programme plans ensuring alignment across UK and global SLS delivery.
  • Act as the central PMO interface between SLS ERP, UK Programme PMO and IT teams.
  • Drive alignment across cross-functional business, IT, and partner delivery teams.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level reports, insights and decision-support materials.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience leading PMO functions within large-scale SAP programmes, ideally S/4HANA.
  • Strong grasp of programme planning, governance, RAID management and portfolio frameworks.
  • Experience in global or multi-geography delivery environments.
  • Skilled at coordinating with system integrators and multi-vendor landscapes.
  • PMO/Project certifications (eg, PRINCE2, PMP, MSP) preferred.
  • Experience in Engineering or Construction Sector experience.

My client is embarking on a major UK S/4HANA transformation programme, supported by our global ERP Shared Line of Service. We are seeking an experienced PMO Lead to play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of this high-impact programme.
