Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test enterprise-level network architectures for large-scale organizations.
  • Lead architect for designing, configuring, testing, and implementing network architectures in public cloud environments.
  • Oversee large-scale projects involving the operational implementation of scalable and secure network solutions.
  • Implement network security controls and ensure compliance with State of California-specific security policies.
  • Utilize infrastructure as code (IaC) tools for automated deployment and management of network infrastructure.
  • Produce high-quality network architecture documentation and work samples.
  • Maintain current expert-level cloud networking certification.

Infinite Solutions Inc. is looking for a Network Enterprise Architect

Mandatory skills

  1. Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in IT network engineering and architectural roles, of which a minimum of five (5) years specifically dedicated to designing, developing, and testing an evolving enterprise-level network architectures for large-scale organizations. All experience used to meet the minimum requirements must have occurred within the last fifteen (15) years.
  2. Must have a minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience as the lead architect for designing, configuring, testing, and implementing network architectures within a minimum of two (2) major public cloud environments. All experience used to meet the minimum requirements must have occurred within the last seven (7) years.
  3. Must have acted as the lead architect in a minimum of three (3) distinct large-scale projects involving the design, configuration, testing, and successful operational implementation of a highly available scalable and secure network solution. All experience used to meet the minimum requirements must have occurred within the last seven (7) years.
  4. Must have a minimum of (4) four years of experience designing, configuring, testing, and implementing network security controls and State of California-specific security policies and regulatory compliance requirements for sensitive data. All experience used to meet the minimum requirements must have occurred within the last seven (7) years.
  5. Must have a minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience utilizing infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, including but not limited to, scripting languages for automated deployment, configuration, and management of network infrastructure in cloud environments. All experience used to meet the minimum requirements must have occurred within the last seven (7) years.
  6. Must have produced comprehensive high quality network architecture documentation as evidenced by the submission of at minimum two (2) relevant work samples.
  7. Must have a minimum of one (1) current expert level cloud networking certification.
  8. Must have a bachelor s degree in an IT-related or engineering field.

Desirable skills

  1. Must have a minimum of one (1) additional current, high-level industry certification beyond the mandatory cloud networking certification listed.
  2. Must have experience in designing and implementing networking for containerized workloads within a public cloud environment for a minimum of one (1) large-scale project. All experience used to meet the minimum requirements must have occurred within the last seven (7) years.
  3. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience with specialized cloud networking services, for example, multi cloud connectivity, cloud wide area network solutions, or direct private connectivity options. All experience used to meet the minimum requirements must have occurred within the last seven (7) years.
  4. Must have a minimum of two (2) years of hands-on design, testing, and implementation experience with modern networking technologies, for example, zero trust networks. All experience used to meet the minimum requirements must have occurred within the last seven (7) years.
  5. Must have a minimum of three (3) years of direct experience working on IT or network infrastructure projects within the State of California or other large-scale state government entity within the United States. All experience used to meet the minimum requirements must have occurred within the last seven (7) years.
