Summary: The Mainframe System Automation Engineer role is a remote position based in the UK, focused on supporting a financial client's mainframe team during a software migration project. The contract is initially for three months and may be extended based on project needs. Candidates should have experience in system migrations and automation, particularly with AMI Ops Tools. Immediate availability is preferred for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the mainframe team in migrating core Broadcom software to an AMI Ops Tool.
  • Assist in system migrations and automation processes.

  • Work with Control D / Control M output management tools.

Mainframe System Automation Engineer – Remote (UK) – 3 month contract (Inside ir35) - £500-£525 per day

Meraki Talent have partnered with one of their global financial clients as they look to add support to their mainframe team. They are in the process of migrating their core Broadcom software to an AMI Ops Tool and need some additional support as this project progresses. They are looking for a Mainframe System Automation Engineer who has experience of system migrations and automation. This is an initial 3 month contract which may be extended, depending on the how the project goes in terms of time and budget. They need someone in asap so if you are immediately available that would be ideal.

Experience

  • Experience of AMI Ops Automation
  • OPSMVS experience
  • Control D / Control M – output management tool
  • Having worked in a migration project before would be ideal.
  • Experience of Automation products are a must.

Please note: This is a remote position but must be based in the UK and is Inside ir35.
