Summary: The role of Mainframe QA Tester/ETL Tester involves remote work focused on testing mainframe applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mainframe application testing using COBOL, JCL, MK4, CICS.
- Perform smoke testing, regression testing, black box testing, white box testing, and both manual and automation testing.
- Write, revise, and verify quality standards and test procedures, including test plans and test cases.
- Review and interpret business requirements and design specifications to create test procedures.
- Understand and apply Software Quality Assurance or Software Engineering Methodologies.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Exhibit good communication skills and maintain organization and efficiency in work.
Key Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in mainframe application testing (COBOL, JCL, MK4, CICS).
- 8+ years of experience in smoke testing, regression testing, black box testing, white box testing, and manual and automation testing.
- 8+ years of knowledge in Software Quality Assurance or Software Engineering Methodologies.
- 8+ years of experience in writing, revising, and verifying quality standards and test procedures.
- 8+ years of experience in reviewing and interpreting business requirements and design specifications.
- 8+ years of understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong communication skills (interpersonal, listening, written, and oral).
