Leveraged Finance Analyst (Credit & Investment Modeling) | Remote

Summary: The role of Valuation & Modeling Expert involves developing and refining advanced financial models, including DCF and LBO models, for complex financial scenarios. The position requires strong expertise in valuation methodologies and the ability to conduct in-depth due diligence. This is a remote hourly contract role with a commitment of 10–40 hours per week. The candidate will communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine advanced valuation models including DCF, trading comparables, and precedent transactions.
• Build and maintain integrated financial models including 3-statement models and cash flow forecasts.
• Design deal models such as LBO, merger models, and accretion/dilution analyses.
• Construct industry-specific models including sale-leaseback, REIT, and NAV frameworks.
• Lead bespoke transaction modeling for complex financial scenarios.
• Conduct in-depth due diligence including unit economics and cohort analysis.
• Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.

Key Skills:

• Strong experience in investment banking, private equity, or strategic finance roles.
• Expertise in valuation methodologies and advanced financial modeling.
• Strong experience in deal modeling including LBO and merger analysis.
• Ability to manage complex transaction analysis and due diligence processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
