Summary: The Lead Power Platform Developer role requires over 15 years of experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. The position focuses on the development, administration, and support of Microsoft Power Applications, .NET applications, and Power BI, while also leading deployment processes and coordinating infrastructure implementation. Candidates must possess extensive expertise in Power Platform development and related technologies, with a strong emphasis on collaboration with business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development, administration, configuration and support of Microsoft Power Application, .NET applications, Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports and SharePoint;
- Leading application deployment processes and strategies that align with standards;
- Set up, configure and coordinate with teams on the implementation of infrastructure to support business requirements (i.e. databases, servers, etc.);
- Implement integrations with Enterprise Architecture Services, specific APIs, identity Management and related services;
- Develop application specific failover processes and strategies to ensure services align with defined Service Level Agreements;
- Develop integration strategies and validation processes such that audit capabilities are incorporated and easily utilized;
- Meet and communicate with business and technical subject matter experts to identify and understand requirements. Facilitate meetings, testing activities, and other tasks needed to support the implementation of the requirements.
Key Skills:
- 8+ expertise and/or relevant experience in Power Platform development, including Model-Driven and Canvas applications, PCF Controls, Power Automate, and Power BI;
- 5+ years of experience in C#, ASP.NET Core, JavaScript, HTML/CSS;
- Entity Framework;
- Experience implementing Power BI dashboards for public consumption;
- Experience with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps; including source control and pipelines;
- Experience working with SSIS, SSRS, and/or SQL Server (T-SQL);
- Experience implementing technical solutions with the public/ Gov sector (desirable);
- Experience leading client engagements from strategy through solution implementation (desirable);
- Experience with Agile and/or Scrum methodology (desirable);
- Preferred Certifications: Power Platform Developer Associate, Power Platform App Maker Associate, Microsoft D365 Fundamentals or Microsoft Dynamics CRM Applications Specialist or Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Deployment.
